What are the prerequisites?

- PC with at least 128MB RAM and high speed access to the Internet
- Must allownetmeeting through the firewall, if one exists.
This allows the trainer to login to your pc to help with the project.
- Must have basic working knowledge of Java
- Must have basic understanding of Object Oriented concepts and be able to comprehend UML diagrams.
- Must have basic understanding on how typical web interaction work.
How long does it take?

There is no set time limit for this workshop.
However, it is expected to take 80-100 hours for someone
with basic Java skills and basic understanding on how a typical
web interaction work. The earlier you finish a module, the earlier
you finish the workshop.
How does it work?

You don't have to travel to a training institute saving
time and money. You can do this at your home at your convenience.
Instructor will login to your PC and does some basic setup to jump
start the workshop. On demand, Instructor can login and help you if you
experience any problem. Your work will be periodically evaluated and will be provided
with feedback so that you can incorporate it in your workshop subsequently.

How much does it cost?

The cost of this one-on-one guided, self-paced, do-it-at-your home workshop
depends on your skill level and the module(s) you choose. Please check with the trainer for details.
How can I get reimbursed?
[FAQ]
We also offer job placement service. The workshop itself designed
to give you confidence to apply for jobs. However, facing an interview itself
is a workshop that requires coaching and guidance. If you prefer, our well
experienced instructors will work with you on this front as well. If we were to
place you, we will reimburse your entire workshop fee during first 6 months of
your employment with us.
What sort of projects will I be working on?

You will be implementing a project modeled after American Airlines
to begin with.You will be provided with the requirements, use cases as well as the design
of the system. You will also be given some core class specifications and your code should adhere
to the specifications. You will be submitting your code weekly to the trainer for evaluation
and feedback.
How do I get started?

- First you will be required to take couple of assessments tests, which provide
the trainer a good feel for your skill level.
- Based on the outcome of the assessment tests, trainer will discuss with you a course outline
tailered to your skill level.
- You will then be given a username and password and instructions on downloading first module of the project.

- You and your trainer will agree upon a schedule and mode of communication and on the protocol to exchange questions
and answers.
- You will attend a 2 hour online session, where you will be briefed about the project.
- Trainer will login to your PC and install necessary software to jump start the project implementation.
